Management Team
Electricity Management Information Unit
The EMIU is a Unit established by the Management Team of the Federal Ministry of Power to collate and store data on all the projects being implemented by the Ministry, so as to aid them easily access vital information for making sound decisions on all matters related to the sector.
The Unit was inaugurated by the Permanent Secretary (Engr Nebeolisa Anako) on 17th November 2021 and comprises officers from the five (5) technical Departments who are to report directly to the office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.
The core mandate of the Unit is to:
- - Collate data
- - Process data
- - Manage data/information relevant to the Electricity Sector of the country.
The EMIS is one of the innovative ideas of the members of the Unit, geared towards aiding the Management Team achieve their goals for the Ministry and the Sector.
